Description
Stanley Lake is one of the most beautiful of hundreds of lakes in Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains. After capturing many images of sunrise at this calm lake, our enjoyment was furthered by photographing three osprey flying above and catching fish. A breeze put an end to the mirror like reflections, but not to our memories. Textures were added to this image for a painterly effect. This image is also available without the textures.

Beautiful scene. Idaho is often so unfairly overlooked. More roadless wilderness than any of the lower 48 states. Wish I had visited more often when we lived in Missoula :)
