Description
" West Arlington Church and Covered Bridge" is a photograph of one of Vermont's most photographed and painted covered bridges. Dating to 1852, the picturesque red bridge is located on the town green near the former home of painter Norman Rockwell, which is now the Inn on Covered Bridge Green. The bridge is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was damaged by Hurricane Irene in 2011 but was repaired and reopened within a few months. The pictured West Arlington Church is also known as the Chapel on the Green. Trees in fall color add interest to the scene.

How inviting. Could use some of that lush color here in California.

Awesome, Priscilla. I love the old churches and covered bridges. This is the best of both. Well done
