I chose to give this image a monochrome treatment since colors would detract from the interesting patterns. Photographed on a typical rainy day in the Palouse, close examination of this image reveals rain falling from the roof.

I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art.
