Description
GAY PARITA SINCLAIR STATION DIGITAL PAINTING by PRISCILLA BURGERS
This Sinclair station is a re-creation of a circa-1930 gas station owned by Fred and Gay Mason that stood in the tiny village of Paris Springs, Missouri, until it burned down in 1955. During his retirement, Gary Turner rebuilt the station and it quickly became a must-stop for Route 66 travelers because of his hospitality and quirky sense of humor. After Turner's death in 2015, the station was purchased by an easterner who wanted to keep the station intact and keep the route 66 memorabilia from being sold at auction. The new owner is very interesting and inviting. This is a fascinating place to visit.
