Description
Hanging Lake is a crystal-clear, turquoise blue lake that is a short, steep, but rewarding hike that starts in Glenwood Canyon, near Glenwood springs, Colorado. It is a rare example of a lake still being formed by travertine deposition. The lake is also known for its thriving hanging garden. Because of these qualities, Hanging Lake was designated a National Natural Landmark in 2011. This photo would be beautiful printed on metal.
