MOUNT SNEFFLES by PRISCILLA BURGERS
Mount Sneffels is the highest summit of the Sneffels Range in the Rocky Mountains. This 14,158-foot fourteener is located in the Mount Sneffels Wilderness of Uncompahgre National Forest. This view of Mount Sneffels was seen from County Road 7 out of Ridgway, Colorado. At the end of this road is a trail that leads to Blue Lake and will continue to the two upper lakes, Blue Lake Pass, and ultimately the summit of Mount Sneffles. Alternatively, the summit of Mount Sneffles can be accessed via Yankee Boy Basin out of Ouray.
