Description
This is an image of the granary interior at the San Jose Mission in San Antonio, Texas. The granary served as a warehouse and surplus storage area for grains that were created at the mill. Flying buttresses support its east and west sides. The granary has a vaulted ceiling, walls made from stone and plaster and a floor made of flagstone. It was completed around 1755 and restored in the 1930s. The Mission is part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.
