SUNRISE FLIGHT OF THE SANDHILL CRANES by PRISCILLA BURGERS
Two sandhill cranes fly out of Whitewater Draw at sunrise to feed in the fields. Thousands of sandhill cranes make Whitewater Draw in southern Arizona their winter home. The sight of so many birds taking flight at sunrise is definitely worth waking up early for.
