Description
A train has pulled in to the Kingman, Arizona Train Station, on Historic Route 66. Kingman is one of many towns mentioned in the famous Route 66 song. Route 66 is a well known song which was composed in 1946 by an American song writer Bobby Troup. Nat King Cole first recorded the song in the same year and was subsequently covered by many artists. The lyrics of the song follow the path of the US Route 66 highway, which used to run a long distance across the U.S. from Chicago to L.A.
