"The Clone Ranger" is a composite of a rider at End of Trail Mounted Shooting Competition in two positions, made to appear as if he is chasing and shooting at himself. Effects and a texture are applied to achieve a vintage look. End of Trail takes place at Founders Ranch in Edgewood, New Mexico. Participants, dressed as western historic or fictitious characters, compete for best time and accuracy in the events by shooting at balloon targets while on horseback.

I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs.
