Artist's Description
Image is a beautiful waterfall on oh-be-joyful creek in the mountains north of Crested Butte, Colorado. This image was captured during the summer. The volume of the waterfall is even greater in the spring when the snow is melting. The overcast skies allowed me to capture the color and clarity of the pool. A texture and digital effects were added for a painterly effect.

About Priscilla Burgers
I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs. Capturing the beauty of God's creation with landscape photography was my first passion. I thank God for his creations and that I am fortunate enough to see and capture a part of them with my camera. This is actually Oh-Be-Joyful Creek at pretty low flows. It is a huge kayaking destination for the months of May and June. This is the largest runable drop on OBJ at around 24 feet. This is such a beautiful place!
