AUTUMN AT TROUT LAKE by PRISCILLA BURGERS
Trout Lake, near Lizard Head Pass in southwest Colorado, is beautiful in all seasons. In this image, the aspen have turned a beautiful gold and puffy clouds fill the blue sky. The colorful mountains reveal the presence of the minerals hidden in this historic mining area. Every time I pass through this area, the lake calls me to make one more image.

I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs.
