Description
BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON 2 by PRISCILLA BURGERS
This black-crowned night heron was sitting in a tree, just above my head, at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, Arizona. The black-crowned night heron, or black-capped night heron, is a medium-sized heron found throughout a large part of the world, except in the coldest regions and Australasia. A stocky and compact heron with a flat head and short legs, it often tucks its neck into its body, creating a hunchbacked look. Adults have a black cap and back that contrasts with its whitish to pale gray belly and gray wings.

Lovely image, what was the focal length?
Priscilla Burgers replied:
My lens was a Tamron 150-600mm. The focal length was 330mm. He was so close that I had to back up to get him in the frame.
