Dallas Divide, near Ridgway, Colorado, is beautiful any time of year, but it is especially striking in the Fall. The first image was captured in the late afternoon light with snow on the Sneffels Range that fell a few weeks before. The second image was captured in the early morning two days later, after an evening snowfall. The aspen, live oak, and other colorful vegetation seem to glow in the early and late sunlight.

After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art.
