Description
NELIGH MILL WAREHOUSE by PRISCILLA BURGERS
The Neligh Mill, built in 1873, is the only nineteenth century flour mill in Nebraska with all of its original equipment intact. Along the east wall of the warehouse, wheat germ and bran, byproducts of white flour, were sacked for sale as livestock feed. The cylindrical machine on the left is the B & L Eureka bran packer. The large structure in the center is the Shorts sacking shoot.
