SIT A SPELL IN RICO COLORADO by PRISCILLA BURGERS
Relax and enjoy the many flowers that thrive in the crisp mountain air in this Colorado mountain town at an elevation of almost 9000 feet. Settled in 1879 as a silver mining center, Rico has numerous historic buildings that can be visited. Visitors can also marvel at the handiwork of many of the 266 residents evidenced in their restoring and reinventing of many of the vacated homes from mining days.

About Priscilla Burgers
I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs.
