A bull rider is having a wild ride at the Gold Rush Days Senior Pro Rodeo in Wickenburg, Arizona. My husband, Neal Burgers, captured this action-packed image and framed it with an image of an old window frame.
Gold Rush Days celebrates Wickenburg's origins as a ranching & gold mining center in the days before there was a Phoenix. The heritage event was founded 65 years ago, and today Gold Rush Days draws tens of thousands of visitors, during the 3 1/2 days of activities. This event was named Arizona's Best Special Rural Event by the Arizona Office of Tourism.

About Priscilla Burgers
I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs. Capturing the beauty of God's creation with landscape photography was my first passion. I thank God for his creations and that I am fortunate enough to see and capture a part of them with my camera.
