Artist's Description

This small log building is Montana's oldest standing public school. Built in 1867 in Twin Bridges, Montana, it served the town until 1873 when a larger school was built. This structure was moved to Nevada City, joining 100 historic buildings dating from 1863 to early 1900. This image was made during a living history weekend in Nevada City. About Priscilla Burgers

Priscilla Burgers

I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. Capturing the beauty of God's creation with landscape photography was my first passion. I thank God for his creations and that I am fortunate enough to see and capture a part of them with my camera. I have also come to enjoy many other facets of photography, such as wildlife, American Western, farm, church, and ghost town photography. I take great pleasure in traveling and...
